When: 8:00:00 PM ET, Tuesday, Novcember 3, 2015
Where: Glass Bowl in Toledo, Ohio
Televised: ESPN 2
Odds: The game opened with Toledo as 7 point favorites and it has been bet u slightly to 7.5. The OU Lines is currently at 60.5.
Northern Illinois is not having its usual dominant season and a loss her just may keep them out of the MAC Title game. They are 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the MAC and that makes this a huge game for them within the East Division. The Offense has been solid again for this team, especially their ground attack that ranks 19th in the nation, putting up 217.5 ypg so far. Leading the ground attack is Joel Bouagnon as he has 863 yards and 4 TDS on the ground so far. Drew Hare is having a nice year at QB, throwing for 1817 yards with 13 TDs and just 3 INTs. Defensively they have been very average, ranking 52nd in yards allowed and 54th in points allowed (24.5 ppg)
Toledo comes in at 7-0 and is ranked in the Top 25. They are also 4-0 in the MAC and a win here would put them up a half a game over Western Michigan, who is also 4-0 in the conference. Not only is this team undefeated SU, but they are also 6-0-1 ATS for the year and have outscored their opponents by 20.7 ppg on the year. Here is something that is not said everyday, but Toledo really is led by their defense this year. The Rockets are 50th in total defense, but they are also a very strong 28th vs the run and they have allowed just 16.3 ppg overall, which is 12th in the nation. Offensively they are strong as usual, putting up 37 ppg, but still it is that defense that has led them.

[302] Toledo -7 over Northern Illinois
The Rockets have been crushing teams this year, winning by an average of 20.7 ppg, while at home they have been winning by at least 4 TDs per game. I’m not saying it will be that easy, but the Huskies have had issues scoring on the road, where they have averaged just 22.8 ppg, while he Rockets have allowed 14.3 ppg at home and coming off a game in which they allowed 35 points, I really look for that defense to show up in this one. I know that NIU has allowed under 20 ppg on the road, but the Rockets are a very good offensive team at the Glass Bowl, where they have put up 42 ppg. This game is important for both, but more so for the Rockets , who are both looking to win the MAC East, plus are looking for a spot in the New Year’s Day 6. Toledo at home is the play here.
