Odds:  The game opened with Bowling Green being 13 point favorites and money has come in heavily on the Falcons and they are now 21 point favorites. The OU Lines is currently at 68.5.

The Ohio Bobcats have had a good season so far as they come in at 5-3 on the year. They are 2-2 in the MAC conference and 2 games behind the Falcons for first place in the West. They have been a bit inconsistent this year as they do have a win over Marshall and lost by just 3 points on the road to Minnesota, but they also won by just 2 points at Akron and have now lost their last two games by 35 and 24 points. Offensively this has not been a strong club his year as they rank 75th yards allowed and 93rd in points allowed, scoring just 25.5 ppg. On defense they has been decent this year, ranking 54th in yards allowed and 44th in points allowed (23 ppg). They have also been a good team vs the pass, ranking 40th in that department, which is important when your about to face the top ranked passing offense in the nation.

The Bowling Green Falcons have been rolling of late as they have won their last 5 games, which includes a road win over Purdue and a 4-0 start to their MAC season. They have also outscored their last three opponents by a whopping 40.3 ppg. The Falcons are led by QB Matt Johnson, who is having a phenomenal year so far as he has connected on 70.1% of his passes for 3321 yards with 29 TDs and just 3 INTs. Roger Lewis has been his top target has he has 1122 yards receiving, at 19.3 yards per catch. Overall this is the top passing offense in the lad and they have averaged 43.9 ppg on the year, which is 8th in the nation. The defense has not been so great as they have allowed 28.6 ppg, which is 77th in the land.

The Falcons have been an offensive juggernaut this year, but Ohio has been solid vs the pass and on offense they will look to slow the game down, which will limit the chances of Bowling Green putting up points. Ohio cannot win a shootout so they have to try and slow the game down and Bowling Green just may have a few issues with this defense. Bowling green has allowed just 16 ppg in their last 3 games and each one of the last 4 games between these teams has seen no more than 57 points being scored. This one should follow suit.
