The New York Knicks come into this game struggling as they have won just two of their last 9 games. That now puts them at just 10-13 on the year, which includes a 5-6 mark on the road. The Knicks just haven’t been playing well and it starts with an offense that has averaged just 90.3 ppg in their last 6 non-OT games. This isn’t a team that has been really built with offense in mind as they have Carmelo Anthony and pretty much that is all. Kristaps Porzingis has been solid at 14.6 ppg and he also leads the team in boards with 8.9 per game, but still Anthony needs more help.
For the year the Knicks come in at 23rd in the league in scoring, putting up just 97.2 ppg. Defensively the Knicks have been very solid this year as they come in ranked 10th in the league in points allowed, giving up just 98.5 ppg, while also ranking 5th in defensive FG (42.6%) and 1st i three point defense (30.8%)
The Sacramento Kings have gotten off to a horrible 8-15 start to their year, but they have played pretty well at home where they have gone 6-6 so far. This is a bit of a surprise as the Kings were expected to e contenders for a playoff spot this year as they had a nice core of returning players a solid draft and the Addition of Rondo was supposed to be the missing piece. Well it hasn’t played out that way and now they are just trying to hight their way back to .500.
The big problem for the Kings has been their defense as they come in ranked 29th (108.7 ppg) in the league in points allowed and the addition of Rondo was supposed to help with that as he is a good defender, but again it hasn’t panned out that way. The Offense has no issues at all as they come in averaging 105 ppg, which is 4th in the league.

I will go with the Over in this game. This is a game the Knicks will be able to score in and the uptempo pace of the kings will give them more chances to put points on the board. The Knicks defense has allowed 100.8 ppg in their last 5 nd 100.2 ppg on the road, while the Kings have put up 104.4 ppg at home and 106.2 ppg i their last 5 games. The Knicks have run with the uptempo teams they have played this year and I see them running here. 210+ in this one.
