The Clemson Tigers come in as the top ranked team in the nation with a 12-0 mark. This is their final hurdle to making it to the NCAA Playoffs. If they win they are in and if they lose then they probably need some help to get in. Clemson has been an excellent offensive team this year as they come in ranked 14th in the nation in total yards and 15th in scoring (37.9 ppg). Deshaun Watson has had a great year under center as he has thrown for 3228 yards and 27 TDs, while also rushing for 756 yards and another 9 TDs. This is a tough offense to stop as many teams have found out this year. This is not just an offensive team as they also rank 7th in the nation in total defense, 4th vs the pass and 17th in points allowed, giving up just 18.8 ppg. Clemson has out scored ACC foes by 19 ppg and have won each of their last 7 conference games by at least 10 points.
The North Carolina Tar Heels really came out of nowhere to post their 11-1 record and put themselves in a position to possibly play for a national title. Thier lone loss on the year was their opening game vs South Carolina, which now looms as a shocking loss, considering how bad South Carolina has been this year. Still the Heels shook that off and have now won 11 games in a row. The Heels have a bit better offense as they rank 16th in total yards and 11th in points scored (41.2 ppg), but Clemson has a bit better defense as the Heels rank 65th in total yards allowed and 19th in points allowed, giving up 20.8 ppg. The Heels are also led by a dual threat QB as Marquise Williams comes in having thrown for 2608 yards and 18 TDs, while also rushing for 786 yards and another 10 TDs. The Heels also have Elijah Wood, who has rushed for 1280 yards and 16 TDs

[329] North Carolina/ Clemson Over 67.5
I don’t see a whole lot of defense in this game as both of these teams can and have really lit up the scoreboard this year. Both teams have played good defense this year, but both teams have been involved in some shootouts as well. Three of Carolina’s last four games have put up 97, 80 and 79 points, while Clemson has had three games with at least 67 points being scored. These two teams have also racked up the points vs each other the last two years as 85 and 97 points have been scored in their last two meetings. This one should be loads of fun.
