After 22 weeks on baseball, we are merely 29 days away from the MLB Playoffs. A lot of teams that were have had a history of being terrible and not contending for the post-season, are now in competition to not only make the playoffs, but actually have a shot of making a World Series run!
The St. Louis Cardinals possess the best record in the MLB at 87-49 which should come as no surprise to anyone. The Cardinals are a class act organization who just know how to win. The Kansas City Royals are 5 games behind them for the best record in the league. The records are very tight for all playoff contenders and this playoff picture could very change change a lot before the post-season begins.
